LED television sets are popular and the KDL60EX700 from Sony is by far one of the largest. This sixty-inch set is a behemoth when compared with other LED sets on the market. This does not mean that the set cannot work with the same features as that of other smaller LED sets.

First things first - the picture on the set is amazing. It avoided the pitfalls of other large sets by offering a full 1920x1080 resolution image along with a 120Hz refresh rate to keep blurring and ghosting from occurring. The color display proved to be great as well. The set could also be easily adjusted from one picture to another. This included moving pictures from a 16:9 display to a 4:3 display for some older programs.

The LED backlight worked with all sorts of benefits. A great thing to see about this light comes from how it can sense motion so that it can choose to shut the television set down on its own. When the backlight does not recognize any people in the room or any changes to the picture it will turn the picture off and leave the audio on. Also, when the backlight does not sense anything for thirty minutes the set will go into standby mode. This was a great feature that helped to make the set more efficient with regards to energy. This was especially great considering how the set is already one that works with less energy when it is normally on.

The USB compatibility of the set was one of the best things about the set. It was able to work with a variety of photo and music devices as well as other items that could be hooked up through the USB port. However, there is only one port on the set. It was easy to access it on the side of the set though.

The fact that there were four HDMI ports and four analog audio inputs helped though. Many of these ports can be found on the sides of the set, thus making it easier for them to be attached to the set.

The set is about three thousand dollars in value. This is par for the course with regards to television sets that are sixty inches in size. This makes for a good set that will not cost more than it has to in order to get, thus making this a great set to check out for one's needs.
