Sigma 24-135mm EX series Aspherical IF zoom

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Sigma 24-135mm EX series Aspherical IF Zoom is a great lens that is basic enough to entertain the fancies of many semi-serious photographers, but isn't intimidating enough to scare off people just getting into photography. The lens has a good grasp of focal-lengths, all the way from 24mm to 135mm telephoto, so you can get the best of wide-angles and the most close-up shots.
The maximum aperture of the Sigma 24-135mm EX series Aspherical IF Zoom is f/2.8 at the very shortest of the focal lengths, which makes it great to use with the natural light within interiors, or great for capturing outdoor evening shots, when there's no need for a distracting flash. There's also a one-zoom lens that can easily be put in place of more conventional and everyday range lens, especially when it comes to much slower versions of the zoom lenses that usually comes with traditional SLR cameras.
In many cases, you can only purchase an SLR camera on it's own, and this is the perfect normal range lens to start you off - it's pretty basic, but is also outstanding quality and is an overall excellent single normal zoom range lens. It's a little bit bulky, but that's typical when it comes to wide 5.6X zoom ranges and fast apertures, especially compared to the lesser-quality lenses that come with SLRs.
The Sigma 24-135mm EX series Aspherical IF Zoom also comes with a specially made low dispersion glass, and two aspherical lens elements that automatically correct, combined with excellent image quality. It also gets down to an incredibly close up 20 inches, at any length. The amazing, very precise zooming can get down to 20 inches at any focal length, done manually by the ring near the camera body.
The Sigma 24-135mm EX series Aspherical IF Zoomis a great lens to use, with very quick and quiet autofocusing that's often accurate as well. It produces nothing but sharp, clear images that show great amounts of detail.
