The 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee - has 4-door, rear wheel drive. It seats 5 passengers. Weighs at 4,250 lbs. Has a V-6 engine. The Jeep has 4-wheel ABS brakes, the fuel tank is 21 gallons. The price is set between $30-$45,000.
Jeeps are great vehicles. The first use of these vehicles was during the latter half of WWII. So you know that they have a military-tested history. Jeeps played a vital role for soldiers who wanted to pass through rough territory. In fact, these prototypes of the modern day Jeep gave the military a strategic advance.
The downside of Jeeps are they aren't very aerodynamic. They have been known to topple over at high speeds, (this would only occur if you handle the Jeep, carelessly). Their boxy design doesn't give them much room for high speeds.
Again, Jeeps were built for traveling through harsh landscapes, at speeds around 40 MPH. One great thing about Jeeps is they get awesome gas mileage considering that they weigh a lot! If you compared a Jeep to a Hummer, the Humvee might get a few miles down the road before you need more gas.
Jeeps are more reliable than most cars and minivans. When it comes to tuneups or repair. You probably will notice if you are a Jeep owner that you don't need very many. Parts and services aren't really hard to come by, (keep in mind not all auto part stores can service all Jeep models). No worries - most can.
Jeep models have a pretty bright future. You don't need things like aerodynamics to have a great performance vehicle. All you need is a vehicle that can travel long distances without any problems. One that can get you gas mileage like no other. My personal opinion is, Jeeps are a vehicle that I know will last the test of time, (or a comparable measurement).
