The TCP54S2 television set from Panasonic is one of the more impressive television sets on the market. This is one that offers some impressive images and functionalities at a price that is amazingly low when compared to other sets of the same size.

This 54-inch LCD HDTV set is one that features a quality 16:9 aspect ratio. It works with an impressive display with a contrast ratio of two million to one. This is a ratio that is very evident on the set but it is par for the course.

The screen refresh rate is a great thing for anyone to take a look at. This set features a 600Hz refresh rate, thus working to keep blurring from occurring. This is a beneficial feature for anyone to take a look at.

The Viera Link system on the set was great with all of the test materials around the set. This worked to link all of the devices that were compatible with the set together through the same remote. This means that the satellite box, audio system and DVD player on the set were able to work with the exact same remote. This proved to save a great amount of time during the testing process.

Hooking up the set onto a wall was easy to handle in that the set was only three inches in depth. The set required two people to lift though as it weighed around ninety pounds. This was a challenge to get it to lift it up but it was relatively easy to get attached after the lifting was complete.

After the hookup the ports on the set were still very easy to reach from the back. These included the Composite and HDMI ports on the back of the set. There was more than enough of a leeway for this set to work on the wall while giving access to its ports for varying devices that the set could work with.

The best part of the TCP54S2 has got to be the value of the set. The base price of the set is a mere $1600. This is a shockingly low price in that a person will be able to get a good set going without having to spend too much money on a set. After all, some other LCD sets are ones that can cost more than two thousand dollars in a number of cases.
