Char-Broil Dual Fuel Gas Grill With Sideburner
Rating: 5 out of 5
I had all but given up on gas grills until I got the Char-Broil Dual Fuel Gas Grill With Sideburner. Propane just leaves a taste on the meat that charcoal grills do not, so I'd been stuck with the hassle of charcoal for years. Then I saw this Dual Fuel unit that allowed you to run it off your home's natural gas. I've come to find out that this feature practically makes the grill for me.
There are a couple of reasons why I think this Dual Fuel feature is simply awesome. First, natural gas leaves no taste on your food. unlike propane, natural gas burns pretty clean. Second, you're never going to run out of natural gas. You hook this grill up to your home's natural gas line, so there's no tank that may run dry on you mid-grilling. I've had that happen to me multiple times, so I know what a drag it can be. On the downside, you will probably need to have a line run for your gas, one that goes outside so you can hook your grill up to it. There was already one existent in my home when I moved in, so I'm not sure how much this would cost.
As far as utility goes, this Char-Broil grill does it all. It runs at 50,000 BTUs, with a sideburner that runs at 13,000. I've used this grill for everything: burgers, hot dogs, chicken, steak and brisket. It works great for quick grilling like hot dogs, and slow cooking for hours with a brisket. The thermometer is accurate and the silver casing on the grill simply looks great. It has room for some storage beneath and a grease trap to keep the mess to a minimum. I really can't say enough good things about this grill.
