I purchased this riding lawnmower in 2005 for $1,995. I live on two acres and some of the terrain is rather bumpy and hilly. The mower cuts good and I've had no problems with the engine other than the battery which I've had to replace. For some reason the batteries that go in this mower don't seem to be able to hold their charge.
I use this mower about every three weeks, and every time I use it I have to pump the tires back up. They loose their air in a couple of days. This mower is also very difficult to clean. Due to the soil where I live, it tends to get stuck up under the blades and it is hard to get to it to clean it out. I have to use a hose to spray up in there and a long stick to get it to break loose of the mower if I don't want to remove the housing. The entire housing for the blades is heavy and awkward and it is a major project to remove it. It is necessary to do this to sharpen the blades or put on new blades.
While the mower works good, I feel that the design of the housing should have been better addressed. The seat is comfortable and has a handy drink holder which is nice on hot days. Driving the mower is fun, and it has a great turn radius. The seat is comfortable and if for some reason I were to fall off, it has an automatic shut off, which is a nice safety feature. It also comes with the ability to set the lawn mowing height at seven different levels.
While this model has a lot of nice features, the blade housing would have to be revamped in order for me to consider purchasing another one.

Lack of being charged. that is common with motorcycles if not run enough with small batteries. Get a battery tender that can be left on to monitor and charge the battery when need automatically. Also small tires especfailly tubed with little volume can go down quickly if they have the slowest leak; so use a seal like green slime .
