Black & Decker Cyclone 10-Speed Vertical Blender Model #BLC10650MB
Rating: 3 out of 5
Currently 3.0/5.0
I purchased the Black & Decker Cyclone 10-Speed Vertical Blender to allow me to make smoothies for my breakfast and my family's breakfast. It worked fine for a while, but started to get bogged down by the frozen fruit and ice after just a few weeks. I thought that it was just a bad blender, so I took it back to the store and exchanged it for the same one, but just a few more weeks down the road, it was giving me issues as well, so I took that one back and got my money back to purchase a completely different kind of blender. As soon as I would start to put the harder ingredients in it, like frozen fruit bits or ice, it would get slower and slower and quit blending up the ingredients, leaving me with more of a chunky mess than a smoothie. I like the way that it crushed and blended my smoothies, but it just wouldn't hold up for a long period of time like I needed and wanted it to. I think it might be fine for occasional use, but for daily use it did not hold up as well, so you have to think about how you are going to use it. I liked the look of it and the features that it offered, but it just didn't do the job that I needed it to do. I need a strong and durable blender that has a motor that will stand up to daily use, blending and mixing different ingredients to make smoothies, blend a soup, or do other jobs. If you are looking for a durable blender that has a strong motor that will blend ingredients in a snap, I would look elsewhere. Think about your needs and determine if it is the right choice for you.
