Bowflex 5-Series Elliptical

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Bowflex is known for their infamous series of treadmills and workout machines, and their elliptical. This new 5-Series is an improvement of their very popular 3-Series, and features a powerful motor, tread belt and many more workout programs for you to challenge yourself with. This is slightly more expensive than other machines in the Bowflex series, but is often on sale as Bowflex loves to offer deals on their machines to help them stand out from the competition.
One of the major selling points of the Bowflex is how transportable and compact it is and can become, this makes it stand apart from many other models as it is good if you have a small apartment or living space - this is an issue with several other companies' exercise machines, and a big issue that they have to face or deal with. It's easy to just fold up and put away in your closet.
The Bowflex 5-Series is also perfect for serious runners who take it seriously, and make want to keep up their habit during the winter months without a gym membership. The maximum speed for the Bowflex is 10 miles per hour, which is average for other machines in this price range. The one bad point about the Bowflex is the amount of noise it makes - because of the parts that allow it to fold up, it makes quite a lot of noise while in use, but this can easily be cancelled out if you're listening to music on headphones. The plastic parts are an odd choice for Bowflex, a company known for its high quality products and machines. However, this is just about its only flaw.
The Bowflex is one of the very best machines out there, and its really well know and established for their strength training equipment.
