For users who want to invest in a step machine that will provide durable performance without consuming excessive space, this is a great solution. When I lived in a small studio apartment, a small, folding step machine was a necessity.

The entire structure of this model easily collapses for storage to such a compact state that it will even fit under my bed when fully folded. It also has a wheeled base which allows me to easily push the unit into a corner, and roll it out when it's time to begin a workout.

The unit's functionality is based upon two hydraulic cylinders which are easily adjustable to tailor the intensity of the workout. Wide footplates enable a user's feet to stay secure throughout the entire range of motion, ensuring a safe and effective experience.

With an MSRP of $220, it is in a lower price bracket than many of its competitors. Even so, the unit has thus far withstood months of heavy usage and still works as well as the day I purchased it. The ease of storage was heavily influential upon my ultimate purchase decision as well.

An electronic on-board monitor tracks the amount of calories burned, distance traveled and more. For users who want to consciously challenge themselves with every workout, this tool helps to quantify the benefits of a workout. However, users should note that they must take full steps that nearly reach to the level of the floor in order for each step to be properly registered by the computer. Therefore, users who find themselves getting tired and taking smaller steps throughout a workout may find that their workout is not being accurately tracked.

For budget minded consumers who need a easily stored workout machine, this model is well worth consideration.
