Thomas Aaron TA-8MT-BT Monterey Billiard Table

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Monterey billiard table from Thomas Aaron is one of the best eight foot billiard tables on the market. This is a great table that passed a variety of different tests. These tests show all of the many different advantages that this table has. Here are some of the things to take a look at when dealing with any of these billiard table options.

A big advantage that this table has is the strong slate base that goes underneath the billiard table. This slate base is one that works with a strong build and a good level of durability. This base was able to create a smooth finish that was very useful and durable while at the same time not too difficult on the balls on the table.

Another part of this table that made this such a good one is the inside table setup. This is something that works with bolts that are stronger than the standard 5/16" bolts that are used on most tables. This is an advantage that worked to give the table a better sense of connection, thus resulting in the balls on the table being able to move around without too many bumps in the area.

The felt was also made out of mostly wool materials. This made it so the balls were able to move around without too much restriction or freedom. This helped to create a more realistic playing field that was enjoyed by everyone in the test room. It made all of the games that were played in the test room all the more enjoyable.

The design of the table looks relatively simple in that it features mostly straight lines. It is also symmetrical all the way around. However, the design is still nice in that it works with a brilliant brown wood finish. It also features several rectangular and square indents all over its surface, thus making this all the more appealing for any type of billiard room.

One of the best parts of this eight foot billiard table is that it was not too expensive when compared with a variety of different types of tables with this similar type of length. The table is about $2700 in value through most retailers. This is much lower than that of the three thousand dollars that is charged for a variety of other types of billiard sets including many that are made by Thomas Aaron.
