GE Roaster Oven

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

This GE Roaster Oven is an amazing value at under $50. It is a great addition to anyone's kitchen. Especially if you do a fair amount of cooking.

Cleanup is easy with a removable roasting pan.

Temperature adjusts from 150 to 450 degrees and seems to cook food evenly. The roaster oven has an indicator light lets you know when the roaster has reached the set temperature so that you know when to start the cooking time.

The roasting pan should not be washed in the dishwasher. It is rather large anyway and would take up a lot of space in a dishwasher. The pan and rack can be cleaned easily in hot soapy water. The base of the roaster can be cleaned with a damp cloth; it cannot be immersed in water.

Handles makes the roaster easy to carry along if you need to travel with your dish.

The roaster is very handy and it does a really good job of cooking large dishes and meats such as, turkey, pot roasts, etc. This is our 'go to' oven during holidays or other large get togethers.

It is a rather large appliance and takes up quite a bit of counter space. The roaster oven measures about 24" including the handles by 16" wide. I believe this would be the only drawback to the GE Roaster Oven. We have space in the garage that works perfectly for using the oven and leaving counter space free.

The owners manual that comes with the roaster oven gives cooking times and temperatures for several cuts of pork, beef, and lamb and also poultry. So far, these have been very accurate times.

The GE Roaster Oven is a great extra appliance to have on hand if you have the storage and user friendly space for it. It works great!
