Sunny Health & Fitness Pro Indoor Cycling Bike

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Bike training is a common option for many people around the world. This can be for a variety of reasons for many different cyclers and athletes. Some may simply prefer the cardiovascular workout the bicycling provides, while others might like the low impact nature that the workout provides, instead of running or jogging. For those that wish to stay away from ellipticals or treadmills, the bicycle trainer - or stationary bicycle - may well be the best option.

One bicycle trainer, introduced in May of 2010, is the Sunny Health and Fitness Pro Indoor Cycling Bike. This trainer is from a relatively unknown in workout equipment, and can retail for as high as $599.99. While this price may be steep for a product that can be commonly purchased for $289.99, you can find the stationary bike from many sellers for a lower price.

The ProForm 290 is a cycle trainer that can be used for people of all different fitness levels. Whether you would like to use it for extensive rides or for short ones at high speeds, the ProForm will conform to your workout. It features adjustable handlebars with non-slip technology, and a padded seat that can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically. The trainer has transport wheels that make it easy to move around your house, and comes with silencing technologies that may for a quiet ride for both the interior wheels and the pedals.

At less than 50 inches tall, it can fit in most rooms or areas, even with a tall rider perched atop, and offers a water bottle holder and an easily programmable menu. This menu will allow you to understand your workout as your are in it, noticing how quickly you are riding, how far you've gone and how many calories you are burning.
