Hamilton Beach Personal Cup Pod Brewer Model: 49970

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The Hamilton Beach Personal Cup One Cup Pod Brewer is quite a nice option for a fast cup at the office or if you are the only coffee drinker in the house. Just slip in a coffee pod, fill with water and hit the one touch button to start it up. Since it is so compact it can be easily stashed away when not in use, freeing up space in your kitchen or other area. This coffee maker uses Senseo coffee pods rather than ground coffee so it's a snap to clean up as well. Senseo pods come in a variety of flavors, so you're sure to find a taste that will suit you. This single cup brewer also has an automatic shut off, a fancy dishwasher safe basket, and a fairly drip-less carafe. These points make it great for single serving convenience.

Considering also that it comes complete with coffee and handy coupons. It is a great value for the part time coffee drinker. Heck, I wish I had one of these personal coffee makers in my dorm. This coffee maker is also surprisingly durable and can make several cups a day without wearing down. It is very quiet, and as mentioned, amazingly easy to store when not needed.

Now if you are in the market for a coffee maker to serve a full household, this is probably not the one for you. You will find other multiple cup appliances at about the same price. Also, if you are used to coffee made from grounds, you may be a little disappointed with the taste.
