Krups Automatic Drip 12 Cup Coffeemaker KM8105
Rating: 3 out of 5
While this Krups 12 Cup Coffeemaker is a bit pricey over all when compared to other automatic drip coffee makers. For the coffee drinker who wants a sturdy appliance with good design, durability, and pretty nifty technology. This is a model to consider. It is constructed from stainless steel, so it is tough enough for the busiest kitchen. It also features a really neat LCD screen with touch commands for programmable functions. You can program both weekday and weekend start times for brewing, and adjust the time your coffee is kept warm. The ease of the Krups Coffeemaker having a front loading brew basket is another great feature. Add that with the built in water filtration system and this is quite a nice appliance.
The design of this Krups model will fit well in any modern kitchen. On the down side, aside from the cost, the water reservoir is a bit bulky and may not fit into tighter spaces. I also noticed that if you rush your pour, the carafe tends to spill out and can make a bit of a mess.
The sheer number of options and adjustable settings are a bit daunting for the average coffee fanatic. But for the coffee drinker that wants an advanced coffee experience this is a great choice once you get used to it.
