We've had this treadmill for about four years now and we've really gotten a lot of use out of it and have been very satisfied with its performance. The speed reaches 13 miles per hour and goes up to a 15 incline, which really gives a wide variety of workouts to program. There are several settings you can select for exercising such as a hill setting, random setting, mountain climbing or just general walking or running. Many in house treadmills out there that we looked at don't allow running or sprinting and can only handle certain weights. My husband weighs 200 lbs and has been able to run at a very fast pace on the treadmill with no reliability issues. It has a nice safety feature where you can pull the safety cord out of the notch and the treadmill will come to a fairly abrupt stop. It also has a nice display panel that is very easy to use and to figure out. You can program special workouts and it will read your heart rate if you're wearing a monitor and automatically change speeds and inclines to maintain the heart rate you want for your desired calorie and fat burn. The front panel area also has plenty of room for storing drinks, tv remotes and your cell phone. It has a pause button as well as a stop button. This is important if you're doing a circuit workout and want to record total miles. For example a workout can start with a 400 meter sprint, you can hit pause, do 10 pushups, 10 pullups and 10 situps, and then get back on the treadmill and continue with another 400 meter sprint. When you hit the stop button it erases where you left off. Livestrong is a nice at home brand also because the manufacturer will service the treadmill right in your home.
