Callaway Men's RAZR X Iron Set

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

Callaway golf clubs are advertised by some of the biggest names in golf, and today they exist as probably the biggest new name in golf. Different than the traiditonal names like Titleist and Taylor Made, Callaway is all about innovations, technology, new looks, sleek designs and capable clubs. They are represented most notably by Phil Mickleson, but also feature the names of players like Arnold Palmer, Ernie Els and Trevor Immelman.

The newest set of clubs from Callaway, newly introduced in the spring of 2011, are the Callaway Men's RAZR X Iron Set. These clubs can be purchased stock for left and right handed players, and offers both steel and graphite shafts. With every kind of shaft style, the set can be purchased new for between $649.99 and $925.28.

The clubs can be purchased in sets from 4 to sand wedge, 5 to pitching wedge, 4 to A wedge, six to sand wedge, and as much as four other variations. They are also available in split-cavity options, full cavity or full bladed irons, and offer tighter shots and uncompromised impact zones.

The club feature squared grooves that offer for increased forward roll, and the grips are standard Callaway grips that come with every level of club made by the manufacturer. On the club, the center of impact and gravity is moved lower onto the club and deeper onto the club. This allow you to make a steeper - and more powerful swing - that gives you the chance to propel the ball higher into the air, and farther down the fairways.

The other important technology allows the clubs to use an undercut cavity system that works to increase ball speed. With increased ball speed, it will cut through wind faster and will get more forward roll off of fairways.
