The Kenmore 75121 is a favorite among buyers. It is a larger window air conditioner but the cooling power is significantly better than its smaller competitors. It can easily cool a whole room in your house. It has even been said that this air conditioner can cool an entire one floor home. This is a great product for anyone concerned about conserving energy or anyone who lives in a particularly humid area. It is Energy Star approved and works as a dehumidifier. This Kenmore cooler can remove up to 3.79 pints of water from the air per hour. That's much more than other air conditioners and adds to the wonderful chilling effect that takes over once you turn it on.
This Kenmore is more expensive than other smaller air conditioners that you'll see, costing about $300, but it does come with a few great features. The temperature display is digital and the controls can be navigated on an electronic touchpad. It's equipped with blackout protection, three different fan speeds, and adjustable vents aimed in four directions. This air conditioner also holds a timer enabling you to set it so that the system will turn on and off automatically. It also comes with a highly convenient remote control that allows you to turn your air conditioner on and off from a distance.
This system does come with a one year warranty, so if anything goes wrong you're covered. Your air conditioner will be replaced or repairs will be made at no charge to you at all. The few customers who did need to activate their one year warranty did say that the service was great and that they seemed happy to help.
Keep in mind that this particular Kenmore model is big so it is harder to manipulate and clean. It comes with a slide out chassis but it is difficult to install. People, including myself, enjoy products that make life as easy as possible, but its terrific cooling ability cannot go ignored, so I give this product four stars.
