Husky Hydrosurge 1600 psi 2.5 GPM Electric Power Washer

We bought the power washer for Father's Day. My husband wasn't the first to use it, my 20 year old son decided to try it out. We found out quickly it helps to read the owners manual before you start. It's certainly more complex than we first thought. My son decided to wash our deck and turned the pressure up to maxium he blew 2 deck boards before he figured out how to control the pressure. The machine does everything it says it will do, I like it in that respect but, some of the parts of the machine are under warranty but, other parts are not. What's with that?
