Lasko 755320 Ceramic Tower Space heater
Rating: 4 out of 5
We have had this product for two years for our large closet in the back of our house. We purchased it because the closet is over our garage, which gets extremely cold in the winter. Overall, the heater has done a good job for us. It doesn't keep the entire walk in closet warm but it keeps the front section warm, which is a small area of only 100 square feet. It has two settings - high and low. The low setting is a waste of time and does absolutely nothing for warming up the room. It rotates very slowly so you can line it up wherever you want to reach the most area of a room. It's nice and quiet, which is nice at night while we are sleeping and need extra heat. The product has a nice safety feature that it cools itself down if it over heats. The power cord tends to get a little bit hot to the touch but it isn't the end of the world. There is a setting for a thermostat but we don't generally use it because it doesn't work. The high setting is the only setting that produces any heat at all. The design is nice because it's small and sleek looking and easy to hide in small spaces. It's priced really well at only $50, which compared to some of the other small space heaters is low. We saw some made by Dr. Heater that cost over $200 and didn't receive very good reviews. I would recommend this product for a very small office area that gets chilly rather than a place like our large 500 square foot closet. It is easy to use, though and has gotten the job done good enough for our purposes.
