The Kenmore Elite Embroidery / Sewing Machine may look complicated but it is actually quite simpler than it seems. It has amazing versatility also, with over 950 stitch functions and 30 bundled in embroidery designs, this machine will almost sew by itself. It even has five full styles of automatic buttonhole. Are you looking to Monogram a special handkerchief favor for someone? The Kenmore Elite has three sizes and two fonts with 2 or 3 letter emblems, and since the embroidery carriage arm is built in, it embroiders without the need for additional attachments. The straight stitch features on this machine are great too!
While it may look like a lot of work to understand, the instructional DVD that comes with the machine and the well written directions make it a breeze to work with. Add to that the large 4.7" LCD touch screen which is full color and easy to read and it's even more of a snap. The buttons, such as start/stop and needle control on the Kenmore Elite Embroidery / Sewing Machine are also user-friendly.
This machine really is a fantastic marriage of professional grade embroidery and traditional sewing. Its 650 stitches per minute may not be as fast as other embroidery machines, but for the hobbyist this is a great choice. Over all the Kenmore Elite embroiders beautifully and sews great as well. You can even find software to convert your own designs to embroidery patterns! The potential of this machine is almost limitless.
