The Kitchen Aid 30 self cleaning convection double wall oven is a great purchase for my family. My busy schedule doesn't always allow me to cook a delicious, nutritious meal but with this oven the job is made simple. My favorite feature on this oven is the delay start option. I can put a dish in the oven when I leave the house in the morning and when I get home by dinner time, the dish is done and ready to go onto the table for everyone to enjoy. If I do not happen to make it home on time, the oven shuts off automatically after the time is up and the dish is cooked. The temperature conversion system makes it easy to figure out what your oven needs to be set at for any dish you want to cook.
The full glass inner door makes clean up easy and gives it a sleek look as well. I like that the self clean cycle includes an energy saving quick setting. This oven is very simple to keep clean. It also comes with a removable temperature probe that accurately measures internal temperature for meats and poultry. The warming drawers help to keep a dish warm while you wait for the rest of the meal to be ready.
Now that I know what it is like to cook with the convenience of two ovens, I will never go back to a single oven. The double oven comes in particularly handy for those big occasions where you invite the whole family for dinner. One oven can be used for the turkey and the other oven can be used for the rest of the dishes. The warming drawers come in very handy for big jobs such as these. I would recommend this oven to anyone in the market for a convenient oven.
I bought one and it makes a tremendous amount of noise when on, and takes about 15 minutes for the whirring/fan noise to stop even after it shuts off. Is that normal?
