I have chronically chapped lips, despite constant application of lip balm and vaseline. Then I found Blistex and within a day I no longer have sore lips. It's amazing.

Yep, that's all I ever use. The green tube that says "Medicated". Chapstick, IMO, is nothing but colored or flavored wax.

I'm a Blistex fan - it is NOT like Chapstick which is like wax.

I love blistex....but find it addicting. It takes awhile to wean myself off.

Interesting. I have used Vaseline on my lips for literally decades ... and I mean literally decades, as I still have a large jar of Vaseline from when I lived in BERKELEY, and I haven't lived there since 1993. The jar is finally close to being empty, but the Vaseline in it still works great. Really.

Blistex Lip Medex is my go to.

Several years ago I had a terrible reaction to another brand, my lips were swollen and blistered. I looked it up online and saw a number of similar complaints to the reaction I experienced. I switched to the Lip Medex and now don't use any other kind.

There used to be a product MADE IN VERMONT called "unpetroleum" lip balm, but they sold the company and I can't find it now. Now I use Eos lip balm; have you tried that?
