No, not at all. There are many with whom I disagree but I still respect because they have clearly thought about what they are saying. I don't care to surround myself with sycophants, bc I'll never learn anything.
But you haven't introduced one bit of logic into your arguments and then you want us to believe your feelings aren't irrational. You would go a long way to being credible if you just admitted that your feelings ARE indeed irrational. Then even though we disagreed, I could respect what you have to say.

Yeah, go back a bit further and slavery was just fine too. Killing people based on their religious beliefs was perfectly acceptable too. If we're looking at 'historically' then being a racist, homophobic, bigot was just fine. Perhaps you were born in the wrong period of time?

To repeat: I don't hate homos*xuals. I never have. But at the same time, I cannot agree on a moral basis with their chosen s*xual practices.

What do you think being pro-gay entails? As for me, of course I'm pro-gay. I want my gay friends and relations to have the same basic human and legal rights that are available to everyone else. I don't want them to have to lie about who they are in order to make others believe they don't exist.
You're focusing completely on the fact that you think gay sex is icky. I don't care what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms; and most sex is icky, when you really think about it. It's not limited to gays, either. Your married boss may visit a dominatrix once a week. The nice middle-aged couple down the block may be swingers. Your dentist may have a basement full of sex toys and costumes. As someone once said, as long as they're not in the street scaring the horses, who cares?
