There, you clicked this link, just because of a name. Why did you do that?

What made Britney Spears, Britney Spears? There are plenty of pretty teenage girls from the south that can't sing... what made her stand out from others?

More importantly... how does Britney Spears keep society keep wanting more from her? She is going on 15+ years of stardom, yet there are plenty of celebrities or one-hit wonders that fizzle out after a few short years.

Why makes us as a society interested in Britney Spears? What's in our psychology that selects one celebrity to hang onto, while we forget about others?

Britney launched to stardom at a young age, had a major public meltdown and family drama with her whole career and life on a downward spiral and not only recovered but got back on top. She is inspiring this way and I hope she does well for years to come. So many young stars die or hit the skids and never make it back. I am not a fan of her music but she is beautiful and I love a great comeback as many other do. This world can break us down and it takes a herculan effort sometimes to stand up after being knocked down and soldier on.

I clicked bcoz i thought we were going to discuss whats wrong with her. Not a fan for her music. She is over-rated & too much in public eye to the point of exhaustion. Same thing with paris hilton. Where is she now?? They are just media props used to brainwash people & are used to launch different products. Thats all. I havent seen any news about paris in a long long time. I guess her contract is over. Now its all about the kardashians. I really doubt if any of them has so much fan following as the media claims.

I clicked it on because I thought it had to do with her recent freak out attack, ..... as per your other question......You have to have good bedside manor in this industry and that is something she has and she is part of the luminatti ...

These would have been my words as well. I look at Lindsay Lohan who has just gone the opposite.

I'm glad others like a good comeback. Hopefully, our family will have a story like that later on this year. We're going through hell right now.

I hate to see young women bashed because of their mistakes. We all make them. I actually feel bad for her. What keeps me interested? I tend to see these young women as daughter figures in a way. Also sometimes I can see myself in people who are "misunderstood".

Fortunately, I haven't had the experiences some of them have had, but I tend be a person who feels bad for those who encounter problems and then are harshly judged because of it.

I clicked because it was yet another opportunity to say what an untalented, undeserving, forgettable woman I think she is. Boggles the mind how she became famous. She's no Madonna, by any means.

Her presence in fact is a glaring indication that the musical tastes of her fans represent a severe lowering of standards.

I'm not a fan. If she disapeared tomorrow, I wouldn't notice that she was gone, and wouldn't miss her.

Hope you will have a positive ending to what you say is going on in your family and all the best!

It is amazing though what people can and do recover from in life. Sometimes, Just when we think it is over something happens to turn it around.
