I fell asleep early evening on my couch as I often do, with the lights in the room off and listening to the Coast to Coast AM show. At one point, I dreamt that I was lying on the couch as I actually was, but the lighting in the room was a little different -- in the dream it was a little darker. And I dreamt that I was beginning to die. However, it was very peaceful -- almost blissful. I was calm, and I was thinking, "Well that's all folks...time to move on to the next world."

For the past six months, my own mortality has been a big psychological issue for me. I've often been concerned with death and its many related issues. However, this dream was very helpful in that it was just such a calming experience.

Has anybody else experienced a similar sort of dream where that dying was not a bad experience?

I've never dreamt that I was dying, but the thought of death has never frightened me. Well, okay, maybe a little. But it's more about the fear of the unknown than the hesitance of leaving this crime-ridden, poverty stricken, sad earth. There are aspects of this world I like, but I've never once thought, 'Ooh, I wish I could live forever.'

I have dreams and waking dreams where living and dead people tell me they killed me that I am dead. Persephone was known as a dual queen with her mother Demeter. Her father Poseidon is known as the earth shaker and god of the seas. If god the father could defeat Poseidon he would certainly be slaughtered by Odin. If someone believes they are the creator, maker or god they must be tested. Nobody is above judgment in this cruel world.

That was the theme of my dream last night.
