And I am saying that is not a normal and widespread thing. I mentioned that it was specific subset of people and it is not accepted socially nor is it defined as "normal" in the general population. That is the extreme deviant behavior that goes beyond subjective normality.

Oh yeah, sorry, I gotcha now.

You're right, that is abnormal. I guess where I was going with that, is that while many behaviors which are considered "not normal" are things I wouldn't judge or care about...as generally I'm one of those people who thinks anything goes among consenting adults...there are times when the ab-normalcy becomes problematic.

I guess in the scenario I'm thinking of, the relatively "normal" partner, or friend, or whatever, when confronted with a reveal of really abnormal desires or interests, becomes the unwilling, the non-consenting of the two, even if all that is asked is acceptance of the deviancy. Hence you have a nonconsentual thing which violates the whole "consenting adults" rule.

I'm just working my brain here, all of this stuff is of academic and not emotional interest to me. The friend I had from overseas, that was ages ago. It was merely anecdotal.

Interesting conversation, Jaybirdx!!
