Thicker skin.
I am so used to being liked, it throws me off when someone isn't just thrilled by my existence. I need to be able to shrug that off WAY better.
Wow, that was fast!! I just posted this
I'm pretty sensitive, so I can understand. Wish I could just let things slide when someone makes a rude comment or snide remark.

Yep! I just finished my first novel, and since I'm self-publishing, it'd be nice to be able to afford all the marketing in store for me...
I think I would change my career. As it stands my work takes me away from home for 2 to 4 weeks at a time, and I don't get to come home every night to be with the Mrs. I think I would look into an occupation that was a 9 to 5 thing that let me be home every night.
Financial situation. My landlord has reported an increase in risk..I will likely be priced out of NYC by the time my lease is up for renewal. I would love to bring home a bit more bacon and thus keep my apartment and life here in NYC...but here I am searching the midwest forums :/
