Make a "to do " list and keep it by your computer or on a small pad you carry around . Keep adding to it every time you think of something you would like do (or need to do) if you had more time. These things don't have to be big monumental task, just small things that always get put off for later. Train your self to do something on the list before you log on.
You just stop going. If you feel like going, shut off the internet and go for a walk. Spending less time on the internet in general will help. You just redirect yourself to another activity when you get the urge to go to the website. If you can't exercise this much control over your life, you might consider getting some counseling.
I'm currently addicted to the internet now, but there've been periods where I haven't gone on so much. Having other interests/hobbies and just getting out of the house more helps.
Keep your mind occupied on other things. Just like any other addiction, it can be stopped if you truly realize you have a problem. Although it is less severe than a drug addiction, if it is taking away from your happiness in life, you have to stop.
You should engage yourself with other activities, also spend quality time with family. Beyond this, it is about a conviction how hard you want to stop an internet addiction.
