So there has been so much talk on introverts and extroverts everywhere. But what about ambiverts?

They are like smack right in the middle of the spectrum between introverts and extroverts and have the personalities of both sides.

I'd personally feel that i'm an ambivert and sometimes it can be a bane rather than a boon because our extreme personalities always conflict each other and extroverts and introverts can't seem to understand us.

Has anyone felt that way before?

I desire total isolation at all times in my cave I live in, preferably. I have no interest in living with anyone, and have little interest in romantic relationships because of it. I don't even like phone calls, while in my cave.

I do get lonely and love socialization, and noise. I concentrate best in noisy environments and chaos and energy, it just must occur outside my cave, so yes.

I think all you have done is to create a new gray area. Now there are two, instead of one:

Then: Introvert (gray) Extrovert.

Now: Introvert (gray) Ambivert (gray) Extrovert.

I believe it 's simply being balanced and maybe having the best of both worlds.

Whenever I take any kind of M-B type of test that provides a scale measurement, I come out as an ambivert most of the time. People who know me probably think I'm an extravert (it's not extrOvert; see Jung, who coined the terms), but I really need down time by myself.
