Ah, yes. That is nice advice. I still wouldn't give up secret service for the sake of doing something scary. I would give it up because it is a PITA.

Sorry, for me I have to disagree....sudden fear or panic instantly changes
my Ph to acid...takes me many days to get it back to alkaline.
Why do I care? I am a Chronic Fatique Syndrome survivor.
But, still am left with having to keep alkaline...oh well, small price to pay to be cured.
In retrospect, I've been in maybe a dozen situations in my life when I should have been scared, but I wasn't. I attribute that to A) feeling that I can see where I'm going and can back out of a situation before it becomes terminal, and B) I generally trust people and feel that I can usually identify those I should not trust.
I know my limitations for controlling what is happening to me, and, for example, three things that I cannot control that I will never get on are a horse, a motorcycle, or a pair of skis.
I don't think I've been in a situation in maybe 60 years in which I felt the sensation of fear that triggered a hormonal release that I could physically feel. Not since I was in high school.
