either that, or like some people do, (doctors and care givers especially) they're being condescending, such as when they ask you...."so, how are WE feeling today".
Yes, this happens to me at doc offices. I finally responded, "'We' am not feeling well at all." Loved the silence afterwards.
I have a facebook friend, who the last time I saw her, was the day after she gave birth to her firstborn. I went to visit her in the hospital. This was a lady I worked with, and was good friends with.
So anyway, I go to visit her in the hospital. It was the weirdest thing...she'd like...speak for the baby, or TO the baby, about me. It was odd.
"Noah, is Miss Sassy cuddling you?"
"Noah, is Miss Sassy making you sleepy?"
"Noah, Miss Sassy brought us something from the gift shop."
It took me a little bit to get used to that. At first, I was like "Noah is less than 24 hours old...why are we using Noah as the go between? Like I said, it was odd.
