A self-defeating behavior is an action that once worked to help in a difficult situation but now works against the individual to keep from applying the proper new response... a healthy response. It's about Survival. When the enemy comes will we be DRUNK< HIGH> UNABLE TO WORK?

The U.S. is being warned by Russia that interference will boomerang.........
Yelling at your family will not work forever and later may create your downfall......
Spending money your don't have on things you don't really need will come back and bite you.......
Supporting people instead of creating and demanding work for support...in the case of able bodied citizens...
Getting high...
promoting the county to get high on drugs ... is not a solution. It's a self-defeating behavior.
Condoning bad behavior because it gets votes, raises funds.......will Boomerang... IS Russia right? Fighting for people around the world sounds good on paper but is can not be our knee jerk response...let's think about ourselves before we trot all over the world...This is not always the right response. We need to fix our
SELF DEFEATING BEHAVIOR then we can better help others fix theirs. Instead we think the world is ours to fix....Physician heal Thyself.
