How about surveying people's opinions of surveys. Like...

Do you feel the wording on some survey questions keeps you from saying what your opinion really is?

Would you prefer that surveys provide a "N.A." choice for an answer in addition to Yes and No?

Would you prefer that surveys allow you to write your comments to a question in addition to asking for a Yes or No answer?

Have you taken surveys which did not allow you to express your opinion as you would have preferred?

Etc.

Meh, I'm not much into Math. Do you have any History homework you'd like us to do? I might be able to help out better that way.

Here's a simple-quick-easy one that is quite interesting, but seldom done. "Are you left-eye-dominant or right-eye-dominant?" The self-administered test is easy to explain, easy to conduct and, if necessary, easy to document/validate.

1. Have the person look directly at an object that is in front of them, about 20 to 30 feet away.

2. Keeping both eyes open, have them point their index finger at the object.

3. While continuing to point at the object, close one eye, then open it and close the other. Which eye sees the index finger pointing directly at the object, and which one sees it pointing off to the side?

The eye that sees the finger pointed directly at the object is the dominant eye.

In the past year, have you read your daily or monthly horoscope in a newspaper, magazine or online, even once?
