So it's not in any way because he likes her? It's just to have fun terrorizing her?

I can't remember that far back. Perhaps this is better in the parenting forum.

Best response so far!

I believe it's because they like them. That's just a way to grab their attention. I did things like that when I was that age.

Because the average grade-school boy doesn't know how to talk to girls. So this is his form of flirting.

When I was 5 we used to throw stones to the girls. To minimise danger we wrapped them in aluminum foil. That's a 5-year-old's take on Health and Safety, I guess.

What's wrong with talking to them like boys?

I'd like to know too. When my brother was little, I'm not sure just how old but he couldn't talk plain, he ask mom if he could pull the neighbor girls pigtails, she said yes because she didn't really know what he asked. My brother could never give me a reason why he wanted to do that, I guess because he was so young he cant remember. I don't think it was because he liked her. He also slammed a girls head into a brick wall first day of kindergarten because she called him ugly. Its odd because he was a shy sweet little boy. Who knows what goes on in the minds of children.
