I have heard men who feel obsessive about getting women and sex but cannot, say they would feel relief if they could stop those feelings, or even be asexual. They say they could get a lot done and feel better.
They could possibly take the edge off with some t-reduction, and have a better quality of life. It would be worth a try. Women sometimes have to take down their estrogen chemically, no need for a man to feel bad about reducing t if it might help him for whatever reason, just like some guys supplement it. Never heard of anyone trying it, they just continue to rage at women, watch porn and complain and obsess about not scoring.
Maybe. As it is, many medications (including psych meds) indirectly lower testosterone. As a guy and a mildly anti-meds person, it's hard to be thrilled with the idea. I had to think about it for a half-day before even saying that. Also, I wanted to Google first.
What that tells me is there's a need for research on how males who have psychological problems before puberty are mentally affected by testosterone in their teens and early twenties.
By the way, there was another school shooting today.
There was a shooting today with a woman involved.. of course, no one gets "the revolution" part yet.. just two more insane people. Woman/girls are not above shooting people.. it seems. You can't stereotype these situations by gender.
Who's stereotyping? I was simply reminding certain men who are hyperfocused on their own perpetual, neverending victimhood (btw I go ballistic over a certain brand of feminist for the same reason) that the need to be admired by the opposite gender is equal among *both* genders of young people. And that one of them is NOT out there shooting up people when denied that admiration- henceforth, the other gender has no excuse for it, because we are ALL suffering that same need for love and admiration.
My sole point was a criticism of *your* stereotyping.
I find it ironic that on one hand he's saying that men don't expect that much from a woman's appearance—aren't that unreasonably picky, but on the other hand, he's saying that women's looks are so fleeting that they are already going downhill while they're still in their 20s.
Here's a fact, I'm pretty sure Elizabeth Hurley is at least in her late 40s by now and I don't know a hetero guy who doesn't want to bang her. What about Mila Jovovich or Christina Applegate, both of who are just about exactly my age? What about Kim Basinger or Julia Roberts in their 50s now? Sooooo ugly. Oh yeah and the *fact* that I can't go very many places in the city wearing a skirt down to my knees for cripessakes in my late 30s and not get street-harassed. Hideous, shrivelled up old bag that I am.
You could argue that they are celebrities, but I've also known women in their 40s and 50s who are very appealing. Some people age better than others.
There is also the instance of some guys who bloom late. Who are ugly when younger, and when they hit 30 or 40, they're suddenly hot. If you've got it, flaunt it.
I've noticed this too. The face keeps changing over time, as we age it generally thins as we lose fat beneath the surface. So some people who may have had rounder, plainer faces when young may gain some definition that they never had before, giving the appearance of higher cheekbones, larger eyes, a leaner jawline etc. That's my theory at least.
19-year-old girls are perceived as easy targets by immature men. And immature men want the youngest woman possible.
Oh, you mean that the real reason for this attack on anyone over the age of 28 is because those women don't take **** and know how to handle themselves??! You don't say!!!!!!! I could have told you that when I was about 19
There's also other good stuff about how higher levels of estrogen boost female attractiveness regardless of calendar age, and possibly some contradictory stuff too.
.....Elliot Rodger, an outsider in his looks and some of his beliefs lost in a sea of people he hardly knew. That's partly why we are getting cases like his.

I can't even believe this dude. But I know everything I need to know based on this statement alone.
I'm not "little," and those insults aren't okay or accurate (except marginally, aging in the 20's). Funny how "little" is used as an insult, but somehow that couldn't have been a factor in why Elliot Rodger went psychotic, like he was just a bad dude in a great world.
