or are you still figuring out who you are? you find yourself as a person , you are confident in yourself at every aspect of life ,self fulfillment , Self-actualization etc, i think person has to find their self to pursue a successful relationship.

I think it varies with certain people, it's hard to put a number on it.
I'm like a work in progress, so I can say that I haven't figured it all out yet, but that being said, I think for me it was mid late 30's where I started to get some clarity about me, life and where I fit in....
Well, "fit in" is subjective of course, but you get the idea......

The year I turned from 24 to 25 was very influential and taught me a lot about who I wanted to be. It was a very bad year. (Sinatra. )

you're confident in your life etc other wise you will damage the other person
I had a very defining moment when I was about 18....somewhere between then and when I graduated from college I would suppose but it's always a work in progress.

I still haven't figured out who I am. I just know what I think I want.
