WELL, FIRST OF ALL......keep in mind that many of them are personal friends!
That said, I've been described as a brunette Catherine Hickland www.imdb.com/name/nm0382692/ , but my nose is slightly more upturned.
So something like Ayperi, something like Ahava. I was thinking about calling them by the names I know them by, but after an intro like that, I think it is better not to say.
Back to the topic. As it is, there are at least two Isis's in my life. She's not going to change and I'm not going to change the name of the other.
If I had been named ISIS I probably would have changed it the minute I discovered it was a Female name. also would have changed it it I had been named Sue, no matter what Johnny Cash said.
Ha! I'm writing from my "phablet" ( I love that word!) That I've had for over a year. The other day I JUST noticed I had an "isis wallet!" I said this out loud to a friend I was with who replied, "I'd delete that if i were you! " lol!
This reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld when Elaine dated a guy w same name as a serial killer. They paged him in a stadium and everyone around him was freaking out. So he decided to change his name.
I probably would use it as my middle name or maybe a play on the word. "Izzy?"
I find it unfortunate that a few rotten apples have to spoil the bunch.
