Obviously there are some environmental factors involved, and genetics. But when I look at my family and friends, I seem to be an outlier. I have a couple of traits from my mother and grandma, but that's pretty much it. I am the opposite of my father and his side. I'm not very much alike anyone that I know. I'm definitely different than most friends I have ever had.

Why is my intelligence higher than most of my family? It has been apparent since a very young age. I hope you all don't take that as boasting, I just don't understand.

My personality is INTJ for those familiar with that stuff. That type is estimated to be 1-2% of the population (the most rare).

Is there hard science behind this that can explain how an offspring can end up so differently in both brain and personality?

It makes me feel lonely not being able to relate to most people, but I'll save that for the relationship section lol.
