I have a LOT of regrets, most of which I would not post here.
But, while I was never a particularly "mean" person, there were a few times in my life when I did hurtful things to people that didn't (quite) merit what I did. And while I did learn from those experiences later, still wish I had not done them.
I'm glad to see honest answers on here. I never trust people who say they have no regrets at all. Everybody has surely done something at some time in their lives, to others if not themselves, that they developed a conscience over. If they didn't have enough conscience to learn from it then there's something wrong.
Yeah I have too many though. It's just hard to let them go when they've messed up my future.
Like the song says; troubles will come troubles will go; all I ask for you my son is to be satisfied. Satisfaction is adjusting and ending with good results. That is the key;IMO.
A few years ago a guy at work pursued me for friendship. He is gay so no worries for it to be anything but friendship.
I regret falling for it.
Long story.
Took me a long time to get over it. Now when I have to have contact with him I am cordial but I want to kick myself for ever being close friends with him. I was so foolish.
I hold my head up high and feel good that I can care less about him now.
