So, then...answer: Yes. Yes, you are the only one who feels that way.

Nobody else thinks State Farm is playing God and sticking you with things you never wanted and expecting you to be happy with it.

Nobody. Just you.

Oh no, they're pro children. Those are future customers! And indeed, things they can guilt you on into buying more insurance!

Jake from State Farm would agree with you.

I think they're pro-children. I just don't think they're specifically pro-Dissenter's hypothetical children, or leaning on him to have any.

Well, by that token, aren't almost all business pro children?

Nor are they mocking him. The commercial has nothing to do with him at all.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

NEWS FLASH: there are people who say they don't want kids or marriage and actually have the willpower to stick to it.
I like this version much better than the one I see. I don't like how at the end of that one, the guy says "I'm never gonna leave." To me that says he will since all his other "I'm never..."s turn out to be what he does. I like the little girl asking for a puppy much, much better.

Yep, that's what my 43 yr old bachelor bf said too. 18 years later I am his widow, not just a gf.
