I was in a mock jury and didnt go along. I was "the one". It ended because it was mock jury, but if it was real, I would have stuck to my opinion. I dont care about attention, in fact, just want to go home, but I am not going to side with something I dont agree with just to do so.
In my case, a doctor wanted millions of dollars because he felt that he was slandered. I didnt see it. I told the rest of the jury pool, I would go along with their verdict if the award was one dollar. If they were holdnig out for the millions, Im not budging. We had little buttons and had to push certain ones when people spoke. It was interesting anyways . . .
