OP: You see there are several ways to "rewire your subconscious mind". Did you count how many? and did you pick one?
I look for the 'common denominator' of all the ways.
An analogy: the United States consists of fifty states. We can obtain a map of each one of them. Each map is different; but the 'common denominator' is that they 'guide us to where we want to go'.(if they are correct).

'rewire' implies choosing your guiding thought for specific situations 'ahead of time'.
You don't have to rewire in advance, you can choose a guiding thought contingent on the situation/facts as you encounter them. EXCEPT in emergencies and routines, in those cases you want pre-wired thoughts in place to 'take-over' instantly for expediency.
For eons, creatures functioned from pre-wired instincts. No creature can have a pre-wired reaction for every contingency. In a changing environment , you need a way to 'keep up' with changes, so our prefrontal lobes evolved so we could choose guiding thoughts to match the changes. Then they go into memory in case you encounter a similar situation and reuse it. We get into the habit of using/recycling thought already in memory, leaving our prefrontal lobes idle most of the time.
