When I first came across that, my reaction was, 'huh?' I knew the earth, solar system; galaxy, etc. was already here for millions of years before I was born.
So I modified that to;" We create our perceptions"; that I could accept and believe.
I 'came across' the rope/snake phenomenon, I don't think I experienced it myself, but I experienced 'my version' of that; that is, I 'perceived' a 'bogyman' that turned out to be "my own thought image". Aha, I 'did' create my perception of the reality of 'bogyman' that turned out to,be a illusion, but 'looked' real enough to scare the 'jeebez' out of me at the time.
That's when I recognized; "we create our perceptions of reality". Why didn't they say that the first time; I had to find out for myself. ( the hard way).
What about all the people who don't yet recognize that they have been creating their perceptions since they learned language/thinking? (You can recognize those people when they emote, and you can't see what they are reacting to because what they are reacting to is in their head, {their perceptual reality}. )
I don't much care that people 'don't get 'that they create all things in their lives.
They will when it's their time.
And what a happy day that will be for them...when they see their own power!
YAY!

a Super Nova of realization!)
One of the first steps in knowing who we are....Self-realization.
The power of positive thinking is awesome.........but it negates a little problem...........people you encounter that you have no control of yet can control you legally.........your parents and others in your life that you can't leave until you are 18.
It overlooks that boss you have to work for if you want a job and the ability to pay your bills which often these days is 10 hours a day plus checking email and phone from home.
The concept is sound if you can control your environment to an extent.........if you can't the theory just leads to frustration.

To what do we attribute their success?
Are they making them or are they masters of 'The Law of Attraction'?

I'd simply say they're really freaking awesome scientists. I know that's not as sexy as saying they're unicorns or conjurers, but...
No, "we create our reality" is correct. The implication that we BEGIN and END our realities is another question and controversy altogether. I have known that I have created my present life about 4 or 5 years ago when I went on a journey of self discovery with God and learning about the laws of the universe. I realized I had created my entire existence by the words I said, the thoughts I thought, and the vision of what I kept in front of me over the course of my life. I realize now that most people in the world just live life without a vision or goal to get to and that's part of the reason there is so much chaos and heartbreak and poverty. Without a vision, the people perish. Without knowledge, the people perish.
It's imperative that people have faith or hope to look to or else nothing will be done. We have angels - supernatural help - that make the things we want in our lives happen but we have to give them direction. You have to write down exactly what it is you want out of life or get a vision board and they will go to the ends of the Earth to make it happen for you. I have accomplished this NOW in my life. Faith is the key to everything.

Please highlight the word OUR; as I pointed out there was/is a reality before we are born.
There's a shared reality and the private one we all make for ourselves. (Confusing them is how we create emotional suffering.)
The way I see it, circumstances come first; we can 'shift' perspective, our vantage point.
If perspectives summon circumstances, tell the readers to stop summoning some of the circumstances they don't like. (unless they do it 'unwittingly'.)

Well that's just the thing - you have to try to have positive thoughts because thoughts become things.
