"I'm a Liberal, what am I running?"

It doesn't make sense. Ordinary people don't run things.

But there are two classes of Liberals: Libertarian (free market Liberal) and this new monstrous child-devouring group of Liberals I want nothing to do with, who advocate for Socialism and group subjugation under the elites

I have a sneaking suspicion that these elites are Jewish bankers
Are you a Jewish banker?
Or a Jew that respects the general happiness, well-being, and freedom of the combined peoples of Earth? There are more of the latter than the former yet the former is the 1% I am concerned about, who own 99% of everything and will simply buy up my personal freedom

They can have all that money, I don't care
But can they kindly take their foot off of me+everyone please?
I want the freedom to do what I want
Or am I going to have to get a flame-thrower and start burning all the papers they write
Who decided I was stupid and unworthy of handling my own finances before I was born?
Moron.

Want to laugh!?!?!

google "hate new years" I did this earlier this evening.

the first 50 links, over multiple pages talks about Jennifer Lawrence (lol) and how she mentioned in some interview that she hates New Years too :/

I've noticed this as well. Search engines, all of them, have become AWFUL in the last couple of years.

"Bread and Circuses" seems more like something that societies settle into more than it's deliberately implemented. The details of it change: (Kardashians instead of gladiators, media vs. lions devouring Christians), but there are always sheep, wolves and shepherds who place themselves.

The NEA's mission for decades has been political activism. The far left knows that the enemy of the end goal of the progressive agenda (communism) is an educated and thoughtful population. That is the mission of the public education system.

The public school system has failed to educate and teach rational thought. That is a crime against civilization and humanity.

Public ed has succeeded in producing emotional, brainwashed lemmings who cannot think through even the most simple drivel like "microaggressions" and "guns hurt people."

Believing that making the statement "If you work hard you can get ahead," is "offensive" and "aggressive," and when all the prominent gun-controllers have heavily armed bodyguards 24/7 yet call for disarming the peons, and that makes sense to you, it indicates you cannot think.

The problem we have in America is we notice qualities such as being dumbed down in other people--the ones we disagree with or don't like--but not in ourselves. The OP uses Donald Trump as an example, but there are plenty of liberal examples that could also have been used to illustrate that the dumbing down of America is happening across the board.

There has been a debate comparing the educational system in the US vs other countries. Those who
outperform our students are usually tracked and tested either in elementary or middle school. The
results of the tests determine whether they are placed in vocational/trade schools, fine and/or performing arts or universities (including graduate and post graduate).
We are a large country with a diverse population unlike other high scoring nations that are
usually comprised by one ethnicity. In the US, every student has the chance, even if he or she
should fail (as in the tracking systems in other countries) has a choice later to go back
to school and receive a university degree. I've heard many success stories of those who did
poorly in high school and later went on to become engineers, scientists, chemists...
Should we try to find some solutions? Of course.

This article below in Psychology Today on the dumbing down of America, and who is doing it and why, sums up what is happening, and has been happening for many years. As we move rapidly down the road toward fascism and totalitarianism and away from actual democracy, we will see what we see now. Donald Trump, an obvious racist and hate mongerer, who is actually leading the Republican party's nomination process. He isn't just a media invention. Rather, he speaks (or shouts) to many people in this country who hate intellectuals, are biased against intelligence, and distrust anyone different than themselves. He understands how the psychology of Americans operate. Love him or hate him, he knows exactly what he's doing. He's the super ego for a huge percentage of the population.

Before posting this thread I did a search in google, which is easily the most popular search engine used on the internet today (and a prime example of things being dumbing down) using the search words "usa today dumbed down". Then I used the same search term in duckduckgo, a search engine some people may have not even heard of. The differences in the results were considerable, especially in how much more accurate the results were in the latter search engine. The first search engine preferred to directed me to ads, not results. I think that google believes that people are too stupid to notice.

"racist and hate mongerer" The race card is the most abused card the left uses, it is the only thing they have to get out of debating with their opponents. here is an example obama circumvents congress with executive orders, the right calls him out on it, the democrats cry and scream RACIST.

The fact that you misunderstand the popularity with trump, keep in mind the mainstream media distorts what their opponents say. The media often portrays common sense ideas as crazy, and the dishonesty & distortion works on people that won't go check to see if the mainstream media is being honest.

Trump supporters are sick of political correctness, the lawlessness and corruption that has permeated this country for 7 years, it has nothing to do with hate or racism like the corporate mainstream media would like you to believe.
