The answer to this question will differ depending on your age and possibly your gender, so keep that in mind.
Question: How often should a human, in this case a 30 year old male who is single, have sex?
I feel like people who are genuinely happy and satisfied with life are getting laid on a regular basis. Married couples, assuming they still like each other, are likely having sex on the regular as well.
Reason I'm asking is simple: I'm going to be a bachelor for life, which means that if I want to have sex on a regular basis, then I've got to maintain a steady supply of FWBs. OKCupid and Craigslist also help out a lot with regard to meeting this goal. Haha. But I'm asking because I want to sort of gauge how much sex the average human male needs to feel psychologically satisfied.
Thanks for replying, and have a blessed day.

There is no medical reason for men to have sex a certain number of times "per week." Psychological? That also depends on the overall psychological health of the person.
In some studies, "happy couples" have reported having sex twice a week, but does that mean that anyone who doesn't have it that number of times is UNhappy? No.
It varies from person to person. Yes, I also have known young men who didn't want sex that often.
Find what makes YOU happy. You get to decide. If then you're still dissatisified, then sex isn't the problem.
I don't think there is a number to keep us psychologically secure. Physiologically, doctors have determined that a man needs to have an orgasm once a day for prostate health. IMO For people who enjoy sex they just need to know they have access to it to be happy.
As far as 'having sex to maintain psychological health'. . . . .
In my case and due to the kind of sex I have, on some level, the objectification of partners, brutality, twisted mind games, hardcore acts and intensity of it, devoid of emotion has probably caused some psychological harm to me at this point. If my goal was to 'maintain psychological health', the best option for me would be to go to Tibet and become a monk.
