My broken toe won't fit inside most of my really cute sandals. Plus it looks ugly.

I have a friend who secretly takes photos of peoples' ugly feet. Usually we think this is funny. But then he took a picture of MY foot. Not so funny!

During the Holiday weekend, I have relatives come to visit. Then one of them wanted to take my picture because they didn't have any of me.

I hate pictures. But least I was wearing tinted glasses to hide my eyes.

Are you still calling him friend?

I'm going to the beach tomorrow and I can't decide if I want to take my awesome round floatie boatie or just my swim noodle mesh chair. It's easier to carry the swim noodle mesh chair, but the awesome round floatie boatie is so comfy. I wish someone would carry my stuff for me so I don't have to work so hard to relax. PLUS I'm going to have a cooler (on wheels, but still.) It's almost like having to work.

More indecision. I don't know if I want to crank up the AC or turn on the dehumidifier.

I'm in a generous mood.

Unless he uses this photo for blackmail purposes. Then all bets are off.

Today I have two first world problems:

1. My toe is still black and blue and swollen, which impedes the cute factor when wearing cute sandals. I want to wear shoes that cover up my toe, but my toe is too fat right now to fit into any close toed shoes. So my toe must show. It's embarrassing. Plus, yesterday a very rare thing happened - my husband wanted to go WALK AROUND THE MALL. And get this - I couldn't do it, because my foot hurt too much. What a wasted opportunity. However, I think he may have "offered" that, knowing that I couldn't do it. Which is a whole other issue that I just won't think about right now.

2. It is too hot outside. So I have to stay inside in the air conditioning. And I'm almost completely caught up on Orange Is The New Black, so I really need to find something else to binge on, and nothing is really grabbing my attention.

Our neighbor keeps bugging us to sell our vintage car and buy a Corvette like his. It's not even a convertible. As if.

Four of us (myself, the wife, a mutual friend and her daughter) traveled down to my parents to attend a presentation my father was giving on his life. The four of us are generally very easy going and tend not to conflict...at all.

Today, during the 2 hour trip, we made plans to stop for a bite to eat. Now, I am type 2, so I tend to lean towards salads, but will give in to a sandwich here and there. My wife (brat that she is), is in perfect health, so she has no concerns. Our mutual friend reacts badly to gluten (upset stomach) and is lactose intolerant (which would be criminal, considering we are stuck in a small car). Her daughter is very picky, but will eat fries...

So, there was more than a little debate regarding where we should stop. 20 minutes later, we pulled into a gas station and just got snacks and a drink.

Mysterious stain appeared on the new white top I'm wearing today. I should never wear white.
