Speaking of golf carts, the more I see people in my driving them, the more I want one. The issue will be trying to convince the wife that the walk down to the mailbox cluster will eventually take a toll on "us"....
Love the golf cart. Barely used it in Seattle but in so Cal I use it all the time. Well worth the money. So much easier to run errands.
I bought lots of marble looking white tile and now I cannot find a bullnose to match. Apparently "whites" are very difficult to match.
So now I have to take it all back and I've just decided to go with boring brownish travertine looking tile, cookie cutter stuff, because the bullnose matches.
My bathroom design was too difficult for my husband to do, he complained etc. But we can't afford a contractor to do it, so I'm stuck with the same old boring crap like everyone else.
I took the plunge and cancelled our landline!! Got a smartphone and a headset w/mic becuase I couldn't stand holding a glass rectangle up to my head and sticking the corner piece in my ear to hear stuff.. not to mention all the auto-menus that ask you to press numbers to get to departments. So all is good and I feel like I am now part of the 21st century. Even though the kids are laughing at my accidentally phoning numbers that the phone insists on displaying!!
Only one problem -- I have to part with my lovely old fax machine. No phone jack, no worky. I sent on average, about 5 faxes over the last 5 years, and received none.... so I think it won't be too much of a loss.
It's just a tad sad.
(But the real question is, why oh why is fax technology still even being used?? Some places insist on it instead of email!)
