I turned on my self cleaning oven, and it stinks to high heaven. The fumes are hurting my eyes.

Yes, we did look into these - thank you for the link by the way!

The issue is - we have a very flat back yard. I personally think a deck would look really weird, especially one that is tall enough to cover the sides of a swim spa. And I don't think I want anything that's sticking up that far in the yard - not anything larger than a standard size hot tub. I don't know - we will continue mulling options over though.

See, like I said - first world problems for SURE! LOL

I cleaned my kitchen yesterday including the inside of the microwave. Then I heated up some leftovers for lunch and didn't cover them since I only put the m/w on for 15 seconds. Splat! All over the freshly cleaned microwave.

Same with toothpaste. It’s such a strain.

Some of my perfectly placed Christmas tree ornaments rearranged, hanging crooked and crowded in spots by my 3 year old grand-daughter.

I love her so much! Harmless fun for her because most of my decorations are plastic or virtually unbreakable. If she had broken one, oh well. No biggie!

When I would operate 2nd shift at the water plant, I would turn on the self cleaning oven after cooking my TV dinner, turn on the kitchen fan, and let it clean. I did not worry about the smell, since I was there by myself. I was always careful about keeping the smoke to a minimum, since I did not want to set off the fire alarm. We did have that happen once when an employee was attempting to multi-task while cooking his crab cakes.

Hey, Wooster, OH. I used to live just up the road in Westfield Twp.

My 2 year old above the range microwave quit heating on Friday. I'm lost without a microwave. The repair person can't come out until January 6th. I shall die of starvation by then. I'm already getting weakerrrrr……...
