You may or may not remember my post some time back about a recurring dream..

I'm laying on a bed in the middle of a bright day. I'm a small child. Someone comes in to the room, very caring and loving, inquiring about my well-being.

I'm not complaining, mind you. Just still wondering if this has any connection to reality.

Maybe it's a subconscious. Some feel dreams can tell things. Some thing they're just random most of the time.

With me, I usually tend to dream about animals dying shortly before losing pets. It's happened around 6 times, with a total of near 9 pets - including dogs, fish, and rabbits. But so far, those are the only ones that seem to be reality based.

So, sometimes, maybe they are telling you something.

I have had recurring themes in my dream with the same plot, but different players and settings lol.
Spoiler

1. One is dreaming of having an emergency, and I need to call someone, but no matter how many times I dial, I always get the number wrong. I know the number, but my fingers just never press the correct ones. I end up having to start over, and the same thing.

2. Another is dreaming of being trapped in my house, and I have to go out of a window, but as much as I hit the glass, I never seem to be able to break it - until after 30 tries, if I succeed.

3. Finally, there's dreams of being chased by someone, or something, and running for my life. Sometimes it's monsters. Sometimes it's FBI agents, and sometimes, it's serial killers. lol

Why I have these dreams, I don't know. All of this stuff is the last thing on my mind when I all asleep. You'd think some of my dreams would involve some men I am attracted to, since I think about them a lot. But rarely do I have good dreams involving them. lol Last dream I had of that nature was last May I think.

VanillaChocolate, your #1 dream is really common in a big part because we can't do numbers and letters properly in our dreams. That part of the brain is shut off. It if weren't, you might be able to make the call. So its a disconnect between the dream state and our reality. It could mean more, but for most people its a common dream issue because there is something we think we should do but can't because we are dreaming.
