Short research paper 5 pages. I stink at picking topics. For an intro psych class. Think my topic of The Cognitive Benefits of Mindulness for Emotion Regulation is good?

I think this is a great topic and you should be able to find plenty of current research on the subject. As you research, you may find you want to narrow your topic a bit.

Your librarian would love to help you with this! The more reputable your sources are, the better your grade will be!

The piece about the "cognitive benefits" is kind of vague. Why not just do the paper on the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions for emotion regulation? Then review a bunch of articles that measured outcomes. I'm still feeling like to do that effectively, it'll be over 10 pages however.
